New European Offices

SKYShades International is delighted to announce the opening of three new offices.

SKYShades United Kingdom is a corporate partnership with Inside2Outside an established tension membrane and shade company based in Cambridgeshire with a network of offices throughout the country. Managing Director Rob Carpenter said " I am extremely excited at the prospect of working with the SKYShades team with their wonderful first-to-market application of the Konarka OPV technology". Inside2Outside formally launches its marketing and distribution campaign in December and expects to appoint some 100 Sub Distributors throughout the UK. Rob has a number of innovative product ideas and will rapidly establish our brand as the dominant roofing / renewable energy specialistin the market.

SKYShades Bordeaux is now open for business. This operation is headed up by Aussie expat Mike Power. Mike has been associated with SKYShades since day one and brings to the region a blend of industry experience and marketing nous. He has already made inroads into the local market by introducing two major projects (an airport car park and railway station make - over). The office is also handling a number of new disribution enquiries each day and is on track to quickly establish itself in the area.

SKYShades Greece Managing Director is Andreas Abbatis - Andreas chose to do his initial training in the Brisbane office and quickly established a rapport with the local management team. The Athens office has a number of major projects at planning stage and has appointed distributors in Cyprus and Crete. He is also working closely with Konarka's Eurpoean Business Development Manager Carlos Guzman on some major OPV installations. A recent Solar Expo in Athens which the team attended attracted over 300 trade and distribution enquiries.!!
