SKYShades today delivered panels to a firm of electrical engineers who will continue the development of the SKYShades rural isolated water pumping power supply.
This is in response to a design request and delivery for this application by an Authorised Distrtibutor.

Much field-testing has taken place since February'08 both in Orlando, Fl where SKYShades officials have been perfecting the 'bonding system' to ensure that the electricity-generating panels are protected from the elements etc., and in Lowell Mass., where Konarka’s officials have been connecting and measuring the electrical components.

It was reported earlier that SKYShades has programmed to install car park structures with Power Plastic panels over 1000 cars at the Orlando International Airport. Prior to gaining the necessary County approvals, there have been requests for SKYShades to build a 'sample' number of these structures to carry out testing of electricity reticulation and to ensure that all safety measures have been conformed with.
